The Role of Culture in COVID-19

Date/Time
Date(s) - 20/05/2020
5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

SIETAR SEA will be hosting a virtual session on the theme of ‘The Role of Culture in Covid-19’. Details are as follows:

  • It would be open to participants of SIETAR SEA and to interested networks and individuals across the globe
  • The discussion would cover how cultural mindsets have influenced behaviours in countries across the globe as they grapple with the impact of Covid-19.

To put things in perspective, while many of the measures, practices and policies in different countries have been similar, there have also been some different approaches and reactions at national, societal and individual level. SIETAR SEA is interested to know how much impact culture has had on the responses in different parts of the world, as well as how aspects of culture might be impacted by the COVID19 crisis – as it unfolds and in the future. We are also interested in exploring what actions and insights the intercultural community can provide which could be of benefit to the global community. We would therefore welcome your input in the Survey below.
