This conference aims to gather insights from a wide range of disciplinary and empirical perspectives, fostering collaborative reflection within the intercultural field in Asia. We encourage discussions that explore past, present, and future dynamics across interconnected domains, promoting a deeper understanding of intercultural interactions and their implications for thriving in diverse contexts.

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES
The Intercultural Insights for Thriving in Asia conference aims to use an intercultural perspective to:
- Learn from the Past: Our pasts have shaped us into who we are today and who we will be tomorrow. Can we delve into and embrace the region’s rich historical experiences, including the influences of colonization, independence movements, conflicts and economic and political transformations, to gain insights that can help us build a better future?
- Build on the Present: Examine current cultural and societal dynamics, technological advancements, climate change, environmental impact and business strategies that are reshaping our work environments.
- Prepare for the Future: Equip ourselves with the necessary skills and abilities to thrive in a world increasingly influenced by artificial intelligence and global interconnectivity.

- Cultural Understanding: How can we leverage intercultural knowledge and perspectives to work more effectively with Asia and within Asia? What cultural frameworks would be relevant in contemporary times?

CALL FOR PAPERS – DEADLINE EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 28, 2025
We invite you to submit papers on topics related to the following broad themes:
- Cultural Understanding: How can we leverage intercultural knowledge and perspectives to work more effectively with Asia and within Asia? What cultural frameworks would be relevant in contemporary times?
- Gender and Generations: What strategies can we adopt to enable greater inclusivity and equality across different cultural contexts? How can we bridge diverse cross-generational approaches at the workplace?
- Technology and Innovation: How can we effectively integrate technology while navigating its challenges and opportunities? How do Asian countries foster a culture of innovation and creativity?
- Future of Work: How are disruptive technologies like artificial intelligence and automation changing the ways of working and the skills required? What steps can we take to enable less stressful and more inclusive work environments?
SUBMISSIONS
Submissions can be made in these formats: symposia, panels, independent papers, and poster presentations. Please submit your abstract (maximum 300 words) indicating your preferred presentation format such as Research presentations (20 minutes), Workshops, Panel discussions, Poster presentations and Online presentations.
The abstract must be written in English and should not exceed 300 words. Please note that the Programme Committee will make the final decision based on the overall structure of the conference program.
